A monthly class combining Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® lessons with creative movement exploration.
ATM® offer a stage for us to sense different kinds of functional movement in our own bodies through slow, small and gentle movement. During lessons you are guided through sensing and noticing yourself while individually doing a related sequence of movements, usually while laying or sitting.
We’ll spend time within or after the ATM lesson to further physicalize our resulting feeling of awareness, alignment, ease, or curiosity.
This self-directive, gentle learning and discovery practice helps us develop an integrated ability to act according to our intentions, resulting in fuller presence and potency in what we do.
No prior knowledge of Feldenkrais is necessary. Feldenkrais blankets will be provided.
Next classes will be on October 7, November 4, and December 9.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you have any questions, please email kirsten.schnittker@gmail.com
